Santiago Taboada Cortina

Santiago Taboada Cortina is the Fuerza y Corazón por México  for the Head of Government of Mexico City. Born in Mexico City in 1985, Taboada holds a law degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a master's degree in Governance and Political Communication from George Washington University.

Taboada began his political career in 2004 as parliamentary advisor to the Youth and Sports Commission in Mexico City’s legislative assembly, eventually becoming the Secretary of Youth in 2008. By 2011, he became the Coordinator of Administrative Modernization in Benito Juárez, and from 2012 to 2015, he served as a local deputy in Mexico City for the Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) From 2015 until 2018, Taboada served as a federal deputy and was also a member of the Constituent Assembly of Mexico City. This legislative body was convened to draft the Political Constitution of Mexico City. Taboada has been Mayor of the Benito Juárez district of Mexico City since 2018.
