Wilson Center Global Fellow Michael C Davis spent over three decades as a constitutional scholar in Hong Kong. In his latest book, Freedom Undone: The Assault on Liberal Values and Institutions in Hong Kong, he addresses the challenges faced by Hong Kong as legal and political accountability has been systematically eroded since the 1997 handover from Britain to China. He is joined by Kellee Tsai, Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern University and Robert Daly, Director of the Wilson Center's Kissinger Institute on China and the United States.
