CWIHP is pleased to announce that the 20-21 May 2009 conference Alexander Vassiliev's Notebooks and the Documentation of Soviet Intelligence Operations in the United States, 1930-1950 was featured on the 21 May 2009 edition of CNN's Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.
The conference was convened to critically examine the contents of Alexander Vassiliev's 1000+ pages of handwritten notes on KGB operations in the United States in the pre- and early- Cold War period, and to integrate new findings into the existing historiography.
The Vassiliev Notebooks are available for download free of charge in both English and Russian on the CWIHP Digital Archive.
