12/02/02--Kofi Annan, Secretary-General of the United Nations, spoke briefly to staff and scholars at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars on December 2. He then met at some length with four of the Center's program directors, including Christian Ostermann, director of the Cold War International History Project. Mr. Annan discussed new trends in Cold War history research with the CWIHP director.
