HAPP Director Christian Ostermann is featured in the Kyunghyang Shinmun

On October 24, 2011, Kyunghyang Shinmun, a South Korean newspaper, featured a report on the publication of The Rise and Fall of Détente on the Korean Peninsula, 1970-1974, the newest addition to the History and Public Policy Critical Oral History Conference Series.

NKIDP is pleased to announce that on October 24, 2011, Kyunghyang Shinmun, a South Korean newspaper, featured a report on the publication of The Rise and Fall of Détente on the Korean Peninsula, 1970-1974, the newest addition to the History and Public Policy Critical Oral History Conference Series. The Kyunghyang Shinmun article highlighted several significant revelations included in the publication, focusing in particular on North Korea’s efforts to instigate an uprising in South Korea. The report featured Christian Ostermann, director of the History and Public Policy Program, during his recent visit to South Korea.
