Lorenzo Zambrano, Chairman and CEO of CEMEX, received the Woodrow Wilson Award on November 15, 2005 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Over 450 people attended the awards dinner hosted by José Antonio Fernández, Chairman and CEO of Grupo FEMSA. Mr. Zambrano is the second Mexican to receive the prestigious award, which celebrates outstanding commitment from a corporate leader to the well-being of his or her community. At the ceremony Lee Hamilton, Roger Wallace, Fred Bush, Enrique Krauze, Rafael Rangel Sostmann, and Ian Armstrong offered remarks celebrating the accomplishments of Don Lorenzo.
