Environment Roundtable: Responding to Climate Change & Syria Update
This week we on Dialogue at the Wilson Center we convene our environment roundtable for a discussion of unintended consequences resulting from efforts to respond to climate change. Our guests are Geoff Dabelko, Senior Advisor for the Wilson Center’s Environmental Change and Security Program and Director of Environmental Studies at Ohio University, Lisa Friedman, Deputy Editor of Climate Wire, and Stacy Vandeveer, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of New Hampshire. Aaron David Miller, the Wilson Center’s Vice President for New Initiatives and a Distinguished Scholar with the Middle East Program, returns to the program to discuss Syria’s use of chemical weapons and the notion of crossing red lines.
