Two contributors to the current issue, Peter Cookson and Thomas Toch, join the discussion as well.  Peter Cookson, a sociologist and educational consultant, is the author of several books including, School Choice: The Struggle for the Soul of American Education.  Thomas Toch is a writer and author whose most recent work is titled, High Schools on a Human Scale: How Small Schools can Transform American Education.
