The Quarterly Report: Big Questions for America’s Schools

This week on an encore broadcast of dialogue we’re joined by the Wilson Quarterly’s editor Steve Lagerfeld, for an exploration of challenges facing America’s schools. Two contributors to the current issue, Peter Cookson and Thomas Toch, join the discussion as well.  Peter Cookson, a sociologist and educational consultant, is the author of several books including, School Choice: The Struggle for the Soul of American Education.  Thomas Toch is a writer and author whose most recent work is titled, High Schools on a Human Scale: How Small Schools can Transform American Education.
