Overview

The Integration and Trade Sector’s flagship publication, “Synchronized Factories: Latin America and the Caribbean in the Era of Global Value Chains,” presents a comprehensive analysis of the region’s participation in global value chains and recommends policies that would improve Latin American and the Caribbean countries’ insertion in regional and global production networks.

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars are holding a policy luncheon on October 27 from 12:00 p.m. to 2 p.m. to present “Synchronized Factories: Latin America and the Caribbean in the Era of Global Value Chains,” the most recent study by the IDB Integration and Trade Sector’s series of flagship publications on trade costs in Latin America and the Caribbean.
