Overview

During a vital time in the U.S.-Mexico bilateral security relationship, the Mexico Institute is pleased to present an event examining justice in Mexico. Jesús Murillo Karam has served as the Attorney General of Mexico under President Enrique Peña Nieto since December 2012. He is one of the top architects of Mexico’s evolving public security strategy. He previously served as the Governor of Hidalgo (from 1993 to 1998), and as a Senator in the Mexican Congress (from 2006 to 2012).
