Can There be Shared Power in Egypt?

Aaron David Miller image

Aaron David Miller talks with Morning Edition Host Steve Inskeep about the transition of power in Egypt to newly-elected President Mohammad Morsi.

"I don't fear the Brotherhood as much as I question its competency" says Aaron David Miller on NPR's Morning Edition. "The question here is not that the Islamists can't govern. Their legitimacy must be tied, ultimately, to whether or not they can deliver: deliver good governance, deliver accountability, transparency, and deliver the reality that they are, in fact, prepared to share power."
