Harnessing energy efficiency in China is critical to meeting future energy needs while mitigating environmental impacts. In recent years, the Chinese government has made significant progress in promoting energy efficiency via incentives, standards and policies, all of which have created new business opportunities.
The event will start with a welcome remark by Barbara Finamore, President, China-US Energy Efficiency Alliance; NRDC Asia Director; Founder, NRDC China Program. Panelists from business and government will then describe some of their organizations' key achievements in the Chinese market, as well as the challenges they face in dealing with the complex energy efficiency market and regulatory landscape in China.
