Meg King is Strategic and National Security Advisor to the President and Director, Digital Futures Project. Previously, she managed the Southern Africa portfolio for the U.S. Department of Defense Cooperative Biological Engagement Program. From 2008-2011, she was senior legislative assistant to the Chair of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Intelligence, Information Sharing and Terrorism Risk Assessment. She began her career as a research assistant for the Homeland Security Project at the Center for the Study of the Presidency. She is a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies and the Women in International Security Network.
