In observance of Women's History Month, the Wilson Center acknowledges the extraordinary contributions made by women throughout history. From pioneering leaders to tireless activists and accomplished scholars, women have persevered through often relentless discrimination to contribute their unique perspectives and talents to the global landscape. This month serves as a poignant reminder of both their profound impact on society and the work toward gender equity that remains.
This year’s theme celebrates “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion,” which recognizes that, for a positive future, bias and discrimination must be eliminated from our lives and institutions.
The Wilson Center reaffirms its commitment to gender equity through promoting inclusive programming and fostering an equitable workplace environment. Throughout March, the Wilson Center will feature content that examines the role of women throughout history and in current foreign policy.
