Abundant and Sustainable Future

To secure a future powered by clean, sustainable energy, we are focusing on key areas that position Brazil as a leader in the energy transition and global food security. The preservation of the Amazon Forest is essential for food security and resource resilience. By embracing renewable energy and green bioeconomies, Brazil can drive bio-based solutions for food, fuel, and materials, reducing carbon emissions and fostering sustainable production.

Through the Latin America Sustainable Agriculture Initiative, we address the intersection of agribusiness and climate change, supporting sustainable food systems and long-term food security. The Wilson Center’s Latin America Energy Transition Initiative highlights critical minerals and renewable energy investment opportunities across the Americas. This initiative aims to improve the investment climate for these projects and encourages stronger support from the United States and multilateral development banks, enhancing the region's role in clean energy supply chains in the Western Hemisphere.
