Security Roundtable: Dealing with Outliers
This week on Dialogue at the Wilson Center we convene our security roundtable to discuss the best ways to deal with the “outlier states” of North Korea and Iran. Our guests are Haleh Esfandiari, Director of the Wilson Center’s Middle East Program, Robert Hathaway, Director of the Center’s Asia Program, and Robert Litwak, Vice President for Scholars and Academic Relations and Director of International Security Studies at the Wilson Center. Also, attempted cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure occur daily throughout the world. And the job of protecting this critical infrastructure from potentially catastrophic disruptions is a 24-7 undertaking. Leading cyber security expert Mark Fabro discusses the U.S. and Canadian efforts to protect the North American power grid.
