The Future of Higher Education

July 13, 2011

As the price of higher education has skyrocketed in the United States in the past few decades, a much greater burden has been placed on middle and lower income families trying to deal with already strained family budgets. This week on dialogue host John Milewski is joined by Jeff Abernathy and Richard Morrill for a discussion on how colleges and universities are dealing with rapidly rising costs and how the United States can still compete for students in a globalized environment. Jeff Abernathy is president of Alma College and previously served as vice president and dean of Augustana College. Richard Morrill is president of the Teagle Foundation and chancellor of the University of Richmond.
