Expert Bio
Ali Abdullah is a staff intern with the Canada Institute at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars Canada Institute. His recent work has focused on nuclear energy, election security, and social media engagement related to Canada and the Western Hemisphere. Previously, Ali interned at the office of U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth and was a research assistant studying democracy in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is a senior at Northwestern University majoring in Political Science and History, where he is writing his thesis on how cities can better support immigrant communities.
