Expert Bio

Arjan van Tongerlo is a recent graduate student in the Master of Arts in Security Studies program at Georgetown University, concentrating on international security and pursuing the Certificate in Diplomatic Studies. He recently served as a Bunker Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy, researching European climate diplomacy, and served an associate editor for the Georgetown Security Studies Review. Coming from the Netherlands, Arjan previously served in the Dutch National Youth Council's European Affairs Division and has written on a variety of international security and geopolitical topics, including European foreign policy.
