"A Field Guide to American History"

Project Summary

A Field Guide to American History will describe 50 historical and cultural landmarks that reflect significant themes in American history. Each chapter will present a synthesis of contexual information, new scholarship, and historic preservation issues.  The research for the book and producing the manuscript will continue throughthe end of 2012. Simon and Schuster will publish the book in 2013.
