Brittany Keates is a current graduate student at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She is also an Air Force Reserve officer assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson and a long-time Alaskan. Her research interests include Arctic security and the role of domestic politics in Russian foreign policy.
