Claudia del Pozo

Claudia Del Pozo is the Founder and Director of Eon Institute, a women-led Mexican think-tank that seeks to future-proof society in light of today’s rapid technological changes. The organization was launched in the summer of 2023 as an independent spin-out of the area Claudia directed in C Minds, where she started working in 2016. In addition to her role at Eon Institute, she acts as a Senior Consultant for C Minds and a Member of the United Kingdom’s Emerging Technologies Advisory Council in Mexico. In the past, Claudia participated in a multi-party consultation on AI governance for the EU AI Act, coordinated a sandbox for more transparent and explainable AI systems in Mexico and another one on PETs in Uruguay, and managed the Mexican National AI Agenda from the IA2030MX Coalition.

She received a special jury recognition from the Women in AI Awards in 2022 for her central role in the Mexican AI ecosystem and has a TED Talk. Her work in AI and other emerging tech from Eon Institute has been shared in international and local programs, forums, and magazines such as Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Forbes, WIRED, MIT Sloan Business Review, Excélsior, El Financiero and Radio Chilango to mention a few, as well as the Mexican Senate and Chamber of Representatives. She graduated from Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom.
