Full Biography
Dima M. Toukan is the co-founder and chairperson of Integrated International, a development consulting firm supporting development and humanitarian programming across the MENA region. Throughout her career, Dima has consulted for various international organizations including CARE, DFATD, UNDP, UNESCO, USAID, Expertise France, IOM, and AECID. Dima is a non-resident scholar at the Middle East Institute in Washington, DC and a member of the Expert Network of the Boston Consortium for Arab Region Studies, and Research Ethics in the MENA project at the Middle East Institute, Columbia University. She has published in Daedalus, the Journal of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences; the Middle East Institute; the Arab Reform Initiative; Sada – Carnegie Endowment for International Peace; and has an upcoming article in Global Studies Quarterly. Dima holds a master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
