Duncan Tucker

Duncan Tucker is a British journalist and media strategist focused on the defense of human rights in the Americas. Based in Guadalajara, Mexico, from 2011 to 2017, he reported primarily on organized crime, public security, human rights and press freedom, among other issues. In 2018 he moved to Mexico City to work as Amnesty International’s Regional Media Manager for the Americas. He has led the organization’s media strategy in the region ever since, while also conducting research on the ground in Colombia, Mexico, Peru and El Salvador. His work has been published in Al Jazeera, the BBC, The Independent, Index on Censorship, The Guardian, El País, Reuters, TIME, VICE and the Washington Post, among others.
