Ecehan Balta

Ecehan Balta holds a doctorate in Public Administration and Political Science from Ankara University and an undergraduate degree from METU's Department of Sociology. Ecehan's research expertise spans diverse areas, including women's empowerment, reproductive health, employment, and rural development. She develops adult education content and provides training in various subjects. She conducts research in food, agriculture, and ecology as a partner at the Yerküre Local Studies Cooperative and is a founding member of the editorial board of the peer-reviewed journal Praksis.
