Full Biography
Elizabeth Byers is the special assistant to the Executive Vice President. She previously served as the assistant to the Vice President for Programs and as program associate for the Program on America and the Global Economy. Prior to joining the Wilson Center, she was a congressional intern. Byers earned her M.A. in International Relations from Webster University while studying in Vienna, London, Geneva, Leiden, and Bangkok. She received a B.A. in Political Science, with an emphasis on comparative and international politics, and a minor in International Business from Kent State University.
