    Full Biography

    Faurí “Fau” Aguirre is an intersectional feminist with over a decade of experience in gender, diversity, and inclusion issues. She studied International Relations at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), focusing on human rights, migration, and gender equality. In 2013, after doing a summer internship at the Mexican Permanent Mission to the U.N., she joined the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE). During her time at the SRE, she served in different units, passing through the General Directorate of Human Rights and Democracy, the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), and the office of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs. In 2018, she left the SRE to pursue a Masters in Gender, Media and Culture at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). After concluding her postgraduate studies, Fau joined Metabase Q, a cybersecurity company, where she oversaw the Communication and Marketing Department. Since 2022 Fau has been working with Latino Victory, an organization focused on developing Latino Political Power in the U.S. 

    In parallel, Fau has worked on the creation of GalaxArt, a NFT platform focused on building a bridge between Latin American artists and the international market of NFTs and cryptocurrencies. She also collaborated with Lentes Púrpura, a Gender & Diversity Consultancy firm in México, where she served as Chief Operations Officer, and implemented several consulting projects for international organizations and companies such as Condé Nast, Organization of American States (OAS), Nespresso, Klar, among others, to create inclusive spaces and ensure the mainstreaming of gender perspective.
