Gustavo Almaraz Petrie

Gustavo is the Executive President of GEP. As such, he coordinates the different solutions of the firm: Strategic Information, Political Consulting, and Public Affairs; all of which are designed to meet the national and international needs of the organizations.

Throughout his career, Gustavo has served as an advisor of the diverse industries of the productive sectors. Also, he has managed to establish strategic alliances of the firm at a global level in order to implement all of the best practices of the field inside our country.

Gustavo is a Member of the Board and President of the Steering Group of the American Chamber of Mexico (AmCham). Simultaneously, he is President of the Public Strategy Committee of the Mexican Employer Confederation (COPARMEX), President of the National Association of Lobbying Professionals (PROCAB), Board Member of the ANADE Colegio de Abogados, and an opinion collaborator in the media.

Because of his outstanding work in the Public Affairs and Political Consulting fields, Gustavo has been granted numerous awards and distinctions; such as the 2019 Yiacatecuhtli Award of the AmCham, and the 2021 National Award of Communication “José Pagés Llergo”, among others. Under his leadership, GEP has been recognized twice by The Interel Global Partnership (IGP), which is the biggest network of independent Public Affairs consultancies.
