Full Biography

Ibrahim Jouhari is a data-driven electoral and migration expert. He spearheads the Data Liberation Project with FNF and is the founder of IGES’s electoral support platform. In his previous capacity as Lead Advisor at Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy (IFI) at AUB, he led a team of researchers in producing qualitative and quantitative analyses, research, and reports on recent elections while advocating for the importance of open public data. Additionally, he currently manages two innovative projects on irregular migration and open public data, showcasing his ability to drive state-of-the-art research and analysis.


Mr. Jouhari's academic and professional journey is a testament to his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. He holds a Master’s Degree in Political Studies from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the Lebanese American University. In 2019, he enriched his knowledge with a six-week post-graduate program on US security and foreign policy as part of a State Department Study of US Institutions (SUSI). He has also participated in the European Union Visitor Program in Brussels, where he visited several experts on migration and electoral support."
