Iris Thatcher is a recent graduate of the M.A. in European Studies program at Georgetown University. Throughout the past year, she has interned with the Polar Institute. Her research interests include the EU’s impact on Arctic affairs, as well as the respective roles Finland and Sweden play in Arctic security and broader foreign policy.
