Jorge Peniche

Jorge Peniche Baqueiro is a specialist in issues related to combating impunity and transitional justice. He previously served as the Executive Director of "JT MX. Justicia Transicional en México" (JT MX), a think and do tank that, since 2019, has been providing technical support(including documentation, legal action, and production of knowledge) to local and grassroots processes seeking truth and justice for gross human rights violations across Mexico. He holds an LLM (Master of Laws) from New York University, focusing on legal theory and transitional justice.
