Expert Bio
Mr. Kian Byrne is a Program Associate with the History and Public Policy Program, where he supports the Nuclear Proliferation International History Project (NPIHP), the Nonproliferation Forum co-organized with the Los Alamos National Laboratory, and the Cold War International History Project (CWIHP). Byrne is also leading a project to expand the Program’s work on the contemporary history of the Middle East and expand access to sources on Middle Eastern history.
Before coming to the Center, Byrne earned a bachelor's degree in history from Kenyon College and studied Persian at the Dehkhoda Institute in Tehran.
