Expert Bio

Lena Schorlemer is a Global Fellow with the Wilson Center's Global Europe Program and is completing a PhD in Politics at the University of Oxford, focusing on the dynamics between radical right parties and fringe groups in Western Europe. She has taught comparative politics at both Oxford and Sciences Po, where she also conducted a six-month research stay. As Director at Agora Strategy, a geopolitical risk consultancy, Lena helps European companies assess the impact of economic, geopolitical, and regulatory developments on their operations and risk exposure. Her research interests include public governance, democratic backsliding, political extremism, political violence, and civil resilience.
