Luis Ignacio Román Morales is a Professor in the Department of Economics, Administration, and Marketing at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO) in Guadalajara, Mexico. He holds a doctorate in World Systems from the University of Paris VII (Jussieu). Dr. Román's research focuses on socioeconomic development and employment and he is a member of the National System of Researchers, Level I.
