Expert Bio
Lynn Mounzer is a Global Fellow with the Wilson Center's Middle East Program. She specializes in female entrepreneurship and empowerment and researches how women in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) can overcome this lack of support and obtain access to the tools to build businesses and social enterprises and become more independent, as well as the socio-economic, cultural and political conditions needed to foster female entrepreneurship.
This journey took her from working with nonprofits to a successful fintech start-up in Beirut to recently completing her dissertation at Lebanese University on female entrepreneurship in the MENA region. She delivers virtual and in-person discussions and workshops on topics including entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and gender-specific challenges in economic development.
