Magdalena Carral is a Founding Partner of Carral, Sierra y Associados. Previously, she was CEO of Olgivy Public Relations in Mexico. In her professional career, she has served as Director of the National Tourism Board of Mexico; Commissioner of the National Migration Institute; President and General Manager of the firm Edelman México; and General Manager of the consulting firm Anaí­tica Consultores Asociados. She is the former President and a member of the Board of Trustees of Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso; the International Women's Forum; the microfinance organization Promujer; the Board of Trustees of Support for Research and Culture at Universidad Iberoamericana; the Board of Trustees of the National Library of José Vasconcelos; the Press and Democracy Foundation; and the Editorial Board of The Economist; and the Eisenhower Fellowship Nominating Committee among other non-profit organizations. Carral received a degree in economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
