Full Biography
Mark is an engineer, game developer, and former Senior Advisor for White House OSTP, now focusing on consulting on games for learning and K-12 computer science education. As an advocate for expanding the use of games for impact, he was honored with the 2017 Game Developers Choice (GDC) Ambassador Award. Mark is creator of the Game Programming Gems series of technical books, and was editor-in-chief of Game Developer magazine.
