Maryam AlZaabi is the UAE’s Youth delegate to the United Nations (UN) for the year 2018. She is a passionate research analyst in the field of international relations, international economics, and diplomacy. For the past five years, Maryam has been working as an International Relations Specialist at the General Secretariat of the Federal National Council (FNC), the UAE Parliament. She’s part of the parliamentary diplomacy department at the FNC. Her work focuses on analyzing data to deliver policy papers, speeches, and resolutions. She is also responsible for handling bilateral relations with Parliaments from the European continent and international organizations like the European Parliament (EP), the United Nations (UN), the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
