Mauricio Rosillo Rojas is corporate vice president of Grupo Bancolombia, overseeing critical areas including finance, legal, and communications, in addition to regional bank boards.

Rosillo Rojas earned his law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He holds a specialization in financial legislation from Universidad de Los Andes, a Master’s degree in economic and commercial law from the University of Georgia, and additional training in European Community law from the Free University of Brussels.

He has also served as general secretary of AMV Fedeleasing; superintendent of Economía Solidaria; director of financial regulation of Colombia’s Ministry of Finance; market director of the BVC Colombian Stock Exchange; and chief of the Self-Regulatory Organization. He is a professor at two Colombian universities, directing a postgraduate financial law program, and an author, speaker, and columnist. He has been recognized as one of Latin America’s most outstanding legal and business minds by The Financial Times and Colombia’s Gerente magazine.
