Expert Bio
Morgan Leung is a Master of Global Affairs student at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. Before pursuing graduate studies, she earned an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences with a specialization in Conflict Studies and Human Rights from the University of Ottawa. Her research interests include conflict resolution and the evolution of peacekeeping, global migration systems and displacement populations, and global health policies. Morgan is also a Student Border Services Officer for the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) at both Vancouver International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport where she interviews hundreds of people every hour from around the world to determine their admissibility and the admissibility of their goods into the country. As a Staff Intern she helps manage the Canada Institute’s social media accounts, coordinates with colleagues to plan and execute events, as well as conducts research and creates accompanying infographics on key issues affecting both Canada and the United States.
