Niat Afeworki is the Director’s Office Program Assistant for the Wilson Center Africa Program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Arts in African Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She looks forward to advancing the goals and mission of the Africa Program. Her interests include the role of diasporas in nation building and development in the Horn of Africa.
