Networks, Post-National Actors and Human Rights

Project Summary

Post-national actors seem to be evolving in response to globalization as people and their governments, societies and communities strive to attain human rights as well as other basic needs, values and interests. Presently, however, networks, post-national actors and human rights remain rather obscure. There are no widely accepted definitions, and, furthermore, the theoretical confusion surrounding these concepts hampers our practical dealings with all of them.
