Sarah Sobalvarro

Expert Bio
Sarah Sobalvarro is an intern at the Wahba Institute for Strategic Competition at the Wilson Center, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Security Studies at the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
She holds a BA in International Relations from the War Studies Department at King's College London. Her undergraduate dissertation focused on the security risks stemming from state-led commercial nuclear export programs to non-nuclear countries, a topic which she presented on at the Royal United Services Institute’s UK Project on Nuclear Issues Annual Conference this past September.
Previously, she interned at the Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation at the US Department of State, where she conducted open-source research on foreign nuclear technology programs.
