Full Biography
Tomás Andres Michael Carvallo is a Staff Assistant Intern at the Mexico Institute of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Tomás is studying Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University. He is interested in how criminal groups communicate and negotiate with the government, civilians, and each other. Prior to interning at the Mexico Institute, Tomás interned at InSight Crime and the Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control at the US Embassy in Mexico City. He speaks English and Spanish.
