Torianna Eckles was a Communications intern with the Wilson Center Africa Program and a Director's Office intern for the program through the Stafford Capacity Building Internship for the Fall 2023 term. She is a senior at The George Washington University, double majoring in Peace and Conflict Resolution and Political Science.
Originally from Stillwater, Minnesota, Torianna has also studied in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Yaoundé, Cameroon. She is interested in conflict resolution and transitional justice, especially in the African context, as well as understanding how U.S. foreign policy can be more effective at addressing the needs of the African continent.
