Valeria Villarreal is a Staff Assistant Intern at the Mexico Institute of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. She is a rising senior at the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service studying International Politics with a concentration on Foreign Policy. She is pursuing a certificate in Diplomatic Studies. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Valeria has focused on the US-Mexico bilateral relationship through her research for the Georgetown University Center for Latin American Studies. Prior to interning at the Mexico Institute, Valeria interned at the Mexican Embassy in Washington DC, and at McLarty Associates’ Mexico Practice. She Speaks English, Spanish, French and German.
