Archivist's Note: The final version of this paper was not found in the Latin American Program archive. The present document is a draft of a research paper of the same name, on the theme "Democracy and Political Culture in Brazil." The paper aims to evaluate a month of research done in collaboration with the Brazil Project at the Woodrow Wilson Center and the Culture Ministry of Brazil. It analyzes documents from the National Archives, books from the Library of Congress, and articles from the Wilson Center Library.
