The Brazil Institute’s Senior Advisor, Bruna Santos, says the violent aggression by pro-Bolsonaro supporters was organized and planned, inspired by the US Capitol takeover on January 6th. Brazil’s new President, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, accused law enforcement of incompetence, and will call for investigations to hold those responsible accountable for the chaos and violence.
