Carine Guerout was a Staff Assistant Intern for the Global Europe Program at the Wilson Center. Her main areas of interest include European Union politics, environmental and energy issues, and transatlantic security and defense.
She is pursuing a master's degree in Transatlantic Affairs between the College of Europe in Belgium and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Boston. She graduated from Sorbonne University in Paris in 2022 with a master's degree in European Affairs.
Carine has previously worked as an intern in the French General Secretariat for European Affairs during the French Presidency of the EU Council, within the Criminal and Civil Justice office. She also interned in a consultancy focusing on sustainability and digital EU policies.
