Expert Bio

Timmy Romar was a Staff Assistant Intern for the Global Europe Program at the Wilson Center. His main areas of interest include the EU's foreign- and security policy, defense, as well as corporate and financial regulatory matters.

He is currently pursuing a master's degree in law at the University of Helsinki. He has previously worked as an intern for the European External Action Service and the Finnish Ministry of Defence. Furthermore, he has interned at several law firms, where he was engaged in projects related to corporate law, capital markets and financial regulation.

His working languages are Swedish, Finnish, English and Russian.
